At Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre (BTMC), Dr. Yew Kuan Leong serves as a Consultant Cardiologist and Head of Cardiology, with clinical strengths spanning interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, and electrophysiology. He is a strong voice for preventing cardiac events before they occur, encouraging screening to begin as early as age 20 — a message shaped by the younger profile of heart attack patients in Malaysia. His career includes serving as Tournament Physician for the 2001 KL SEA Games and as a former Pahang Royal State Physician. He has received KKM Fellowship Awards as well as international fellowships in the USA and Italy, and has earned accolades at TCT Asia Pacific and MyLive. In addition, he gives his time as an honorary lecturer for Universiti Islamik Antarabangsa (UIA) and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS).

I was attended by Dr Yew, overall experience was ok. Stayed in level 5 for two days. Nurses were all very nice and attend to my needs as fast as they can. 5 stars for all the nurses at level 5. Food wise, many choices (although not the best taste). Kept changing my mind and the team could accommodate to my needs as well 😂 Ohhh! And my sonographer! I didn’t get her name. Indian race, with three kids (2 boys and a girl). She was so gentle to me and very understanding during my echocardiogram. I hope BTMC could recognise her please! 5 stars for her!!! (And I’m so sorry for not getting the name)
