Known today as KPJ Kuala Selangor Specialist Hospital, this facility began life under a different name — KPJ Riverview Specialist Hospital — and stands as the 30th project within the KPJ network. Work on the site started on September 9, 2019, though the COVID-19 pandemic forced a temporary halt in 2020. Construction picked up again on December 15, 2021, and the completed hospital was officially handed over to KPJ Healthcare Berhad on October 1, 2024. A renaming followed, bringing the hospital in line with corporate branding. For residents of the area, this matters: it is the first private hospital in Kuala Selangor, and its position along the main road makes reaching it straightforward. The hospital welcomed the public on March 22, 2024, marking a significant boost to healthcare services in the region.
