With a capacity of more than 300 beds, Sunway Medical Centre Damansara (SMCD) operates as a comprehensive tertiary hospital devoted to patient-centred care for the communities around it. December 2024 marked its opening, making it the fourth comprehensive tertiary hospital within Sunway Healthcare Group (SHG) and a component of the group's hub and spoke model. In this role, SMCD works alongside SHG's flagship quaternary hospital, Sunway Medical Centre (Sunway City), which holds the position of largest quaternary private hospital in Malaysia. Through this strategic addition, Sunway Healthcare Group strengthens its capacity to provide comprehensive and advanced medical care, widening access to high-quality healthcare services throughout the region.
