During my stay at KPJ Bandar Dato' Onn, the service from the medical ward level 6 staff (staff Yettiesah, Doctor Ahmad Adli) was excellent and very helpful; they responded to me quickly and provided clear explanations. The room was also tidy and was a single room. The food was delicious. Thanks also to Cik Diana Atasya for providing a clear explanation regarding the discharge process. Overall, I am very satisfied.

My name is Durgeswari A/P Balakrishnan. From 25/5/2026 until 27/5/2026, I was admitted to the hospital because I had a bad cough for 2 months. I came to see Dr. Ahmad Adli Bin Jamaludin. He is a very nice doctor and gave me very good treatment. I am very happy with the care I received from him. This doctor was recommended by my aunty, Divya Batumalai, who is working at KPJ Dato’ Onn as a nurse in the Emergency Department. Thank you, aunty. The doctor checked my health very carefully and explained everything very well. Thank you so much, Doctor and aunty.

CREDITS & BIG THANKS TO DR. ADLI, DR. EIZARI & ALL STAFF ❤️ Came here after a cough that wouldn't go away since September 2025. I had visited the clinic on and off 3 times but still wasn't cured. Finally decided to come to KPJ Dato' Onn Specialist Hospital for a more detailed check-up. I was seen by Dr. Adli who treated me and successfully detected that the root cause of the problem was actually from my sinuses. (Actually, I didn't even know I had sinuses 😅). It was strange because I suddenly developed a cough, swollen throat, and frequent shortness of breath, but it wouldn't get better. Then Dr. Adli referred me to Dr. Ezairi, and it turned out I needed an operation because the condition was quite severe hahaha. Alhamdulillah, thank you Dr. Adli for successfully finding the cause of my illness 🤍 Also, immense thanks to Dr. Ezairi & all the staff who treated me until I recovered. Thank you for tolerating my fearful nature 🤣 and for answering all my questions before and after the operation until I was completely healthy. The service was very friendly, and smiles were always present. I felt very comfortable dealing with Dr. Ezairi & staff ❤️ Thanks also to Dato' Dr. Haji Suhaimi and the staff in the operating room for the anesthesia and for treating me so well. May all doctors, nurses, and staff in the ward have their affairs made easy 🤲 The ward was also very comfortable — I got a new, spacious, cozy ward that felt like a vacation 🤭 which made me feel better quickly. The food was delicious, the wifi was fast, the air conditioning was cool and comfortable. The male staff at the information desk/GL appointment letter collection point were also very kind and friendly. Thank you all

My father was admitted to the hospital from 4–6 April 2026 following ambulance transfer for a suspected stroke. While one attending doctor (Dr Adli) demonstrated professionalism and appropriate communication, the overall admission was marked by serious deficiencies in care, communication, and staff conduct, particularly involving nursing and administrative processes. Key issues included: •Delayed emergency registration despite ambulance arrival, with front desk staff prioritising personal activities over patient processing. •Prolonged waiting (≈3 hours) in A&E with no updates, requiring family members to repeatedly seek information. •Failure to meet basic patient needs, including provision of food and water despite medical clearance. •Rude, dismissive, and unprofessional nursing behaviour, particularly on Level 5, compromising patient safety and family confidence. •Significant administrative delays, including late initiation of the Letter of Guarantee and poor communication regarding insurance‑related MRI delays. •Inadequate communication by the attending primary neurosurgeon (Dr Rishadawati), including failure to explain diagnosis, imaging decisions, and MRI findings confirming a mild stroke. •Unsafe nursing practices, including unattended call bells and alarming statements indicating disregard for patient monitoring protocols. •Intimidating enforcement of visiting hours, including unnecessary involvement of security while awaiting urgent results. •Service quality inconsistent with high fees charged and inconsistent with the hospital’s public rating. In contrast, Dr Adli provided clear explanations and recommended transfer to a more appropriate ward (Level 9) due to inadequate neuro capability and staffing on Level 5. Overall, the admission reflected systemic failures in communication, professionalism, and patient‑centred care, warranting formal investigation and corrective action. Given these serious shortcomings, we are surprised that the hospital maintains a 4.6‑star public rating, as our experience fell significantly below reasonable expectations. Highlight of the issues:- Call Bell Neglect and Unsafe Nursing Conduct 6 April 2026 – 06:06 hrs Registered nurse with blonde 👱‍♀️ hair. - staff go break together and left nurse counter empty. •Call bell was activated and unattended for over 10 minutes •I approached the nurses’ counter three times •All staff were observed having dinner together •When I enquired about MRI reporting time, I was met with rude and dismissive responses, including a nurse walking away mid‑conversation •I was told: •“You are around, so we don’t attend the call bell.” •“If patient collapses, they will shout.”!!!! These statements are professionally indefensible, unsafe, and demonstrate a serious disregard for established patient‑safety protocols.
