Pros are the experienced and patient ophthalmologists Dr. Yong ( to be exact) plus the equipment. However, hope the Management seriously reviews the efficiency of the dispensary . Took nearly an hour and half (and still waiting as I am writing this) just for medication. Thumbs DOWN to the Dispensary team . Needs improvement including its level of customer service . It is frustrating for elderly patients who have already waited more than 2 hours to see the doctor .

We had an excellent experience with Dr Yong at Ipoh Eye Specialist Centre for my grandfather’s right cataract surgery. Dr Yong demonstrated exceptional professionalism and care. He took the time to thoroughly explain my grandfather’s eye condition and the cataract surgery process in a way that was clear and easy to understand. What stood out most was how he patiently answered every single question we had, no matter how small, ensuring we felt fully informed and reassured.The clinic is equipped with very advanced and professional equipment,He even used a 3D eye model to visually demonstrate the procedure, which really helped us understand what would be done during the surgery. Dr Yong is not only highly knowledgeable but also extremely friendly and approachable. His team reflects the same level of professionalism and warmth, making every visit comfortable and smooth.We are very grateful for the excellent care provided and would highly recommend Dr Yong and his team to anyone considering cataract surgery or eye treatment.

Did the FemtoLasik procedure with Dr Yong last week. It was a great experience. I was nervous at first but Dr Yong are soft spoken and keep encouraging during the session. The best part is the procedure was painless and smooth. Also staffs are kind and polite, the one I can recall is Ms Connie. I would absolutely recommend Ipoh Eye to my family and friends.
