On 2nd March, I visited for a check-up as I was almost 3 months postpartum and experiencing worsening pain in my knees, ankles, and wrists. Unfortunately, my experience with the orthopaedic doctor, Dr Ng, was very disappointing. He showed little empathy and did not provide any meaningful assistance. If he was unable to determine the cause, I believe I should have been referred to a gynaecologist or physician for further evaluation. What stood out most was how rushed the consultation felt and how abit snobbish he was. When I mentioned that I had been dealing with the pain for a month, his response was, “Oh, that’s not long.” That’s when I had enough of his attitude. As a new mother responsible for caring for my infant, this felt dismissive, as the pain has significantly impacted my ability to function daily. I would not recommend this doctor if you are looking for attentive and compassionate care. That said, I would still like to acknowledge the rest of the team. I am leaving 1 star overall due to the consultation experience but the customer service from the receptionist, concierge, nurses and even billing was excellent. They were all professional, helpful and made a very positive first impression 🫶🏻 they truly deserve 5 stars for their service. However, at the end of the day, healthcare ultimately comes down to the quality of care and consultation provided by the doctor. It is unfortunate that one negative experience overshadowed an otherwise good experience. On a positive note, I sought a second opinion at a different hospital, where I was properly assessed, referred to the right specialist and am now receiving appropriate treatment.

I had my trigger finger release surgery done by Dr. Ng Tiong Soon at Aurelius Hospital Negeri Sembilan on 9th March, and I’m very grateful for the excellent care I received. From the initial consultation to the procedure and follow-up, Dr. Ng was professional, patient, and very reassuring. He took the time to clearly explain my condition and the surgical process, which made me feel confident and at ease. The surgery went smoothly, and my recovery has been better than I expected. I also had a very positive experience at Aurelius Hospital Negeri Sembilan—the staff were friendly, attentive, and supportive throughout my visit. I truly appreciate Dr. Ng’s skill, attention to detail, and compassionate approach. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking treatment for hand conditions.
