Very disappointed with my son’s recent experience, especially with the initial management by Dr Dinesh in the ED. My son came in with four days of fever, cough and vomiting and tested positive for Influenza B. Despite this, Dr Dinesh decided to refer him directly to ENT because of his sore throat and flu. I questioned the referral as I felt a Physician would have been more appropriate, but was told my son condition only ENT can handle ( Dr Loh ) After admission to MD1 Isolation Room 1 at 7.15pm, we had to wait until around 11pm for the ENT doctor to review him. Unfortunately, I was also unhappy with the subsequent ENT management, and there was no significant improvement. Eventually, my son was referred to Dr Khoo, Physician, whose management was much better and my son finally started improving. I am especially disappointed with the initial decision by Dr Dinesh and sincerely hope the hospital reviews this case and provides appropriate feedback, so the same mistake does not happen to another patient.
